So seeing as tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, I figured I would share my Valentine’s Day makeup look with you guys! I don’t actually have a valentine this year, so I don’t have any special plans tomorrow, but this would be a great makeup look to wear on a date, or just a night out with friends too!
First, I used my Maybelline Fit Me foundation, I am a big fan of this foundation, I feel like it gives a beautiful coverage and luminosity to the skin and it creates the perfect base. Then I used my the Fit Me concealer as well, again, I am a big fan of this concealer, it’s super affordable and has nice coverage.
Then I went in with my Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette. I hadn’t really used this palette in a while, so I brought it out again for this look. I like that it has a cool-tone shade to get a really nice contour, as well as a warmer shade to give a nice overall bronzed look.
Once I have my base on, I used a really pretty dusty rose colored blush on my cheeks to add some color to them. This blush is by Stila It came in a holiday palette of theirs a couple of years ago, but I love it, I think it’s such a pretty color perfect for this look.
Then I went in with the Elf Baked Blush in Pinktastic. Recently I have been using this blush almost everyday as my cheekbone highlight. I think it is so beautiful, and gives a really pretty natural looking glow, I just love it! I first take it on a large stippling brush and lightly dust it all over the apples of my cheeks, kind of like a blush overlay, then I take a highlighting fan brush and focus more of the product on the high points of my cheekbones, for a really glam effect.
Then for the eyes, I used my trusty Stila Eyes Are the Windows to the Soul Palette. This has been one of my all time favorite palettes for a while now, and I find I use it almost everyday. The shades in here are so versatile, so you can create a really soft simple look or a super glam dramatic look, with just one palette. But I went for a look with a little more drama today, using this really pretty silver shade, to create a little bit of a smoky eye. Then I just went in with a generous coat of mascara to complete the eye makeup.
And finally I used my Rimmel #11 lipstick. I think this is such a beautiful deep red shade, perfect for Valentine’s day!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
