My Top 5 Christmas Movies

December 23, 2016 , In: Lifestyle , With: 4 Comments

Christmas is in 2 days and I am so excited! I’ve been crazy busy the last couple of days, but I wanted to get this one last post up before Christmas, and I’ve been watching so many Christmas movies in the past week, so I wanted to share my top 5 all time favorite Christmas movies!

elf-movieI mentioned this movie in my Christmas Tag, but this is at the top of my Christmas movie list.  It is just so funny and perfect in every way.  Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel are fantastic, I will always love this movie!

My favorite line: “It’s just nice to meet another human who shares my affinity for elf culture.”

Home Alone

home-aloneThis is a classic Christmas movie, and I hadn’t actually watched this one in a really long time, but I watched it the other weekend, and I forgot just how great of a movie it is!

My favorite line: “How could we do this? We forgot him. What kind of mother am I?” “If it makes you feel any better, I forgot my reading glasses.”

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

the-grinchI love both the original cartoon and the Jim Carrey version of this movie.  This movie never fails to get me into the Christmas spirit.

My favorite line: “Even if I wanted to go my schedule wouldn’t allow it. 4:00, wallow in self pity; 4:30, stare into the abyss; 5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one; 5:30 Jazzercize; 6:30, dinner with me – I can’t cancel that again.”

The Polar Express

the-polar-express-2I feel like I don’t usually hear people talk about this movie very much during the holiday season, but it’s one of my favorites.  I used to read the book all the time when I was younger so seeing it made into a movie was so cool!

My favorite line: “The thing about trains… it doesn’t matter where they’re going. What matters is deciding to get on.”

The Santa Clause

santa-clausThis is another movie that I had not watched in years, that I recently watched, and it’s amazing, another classic.

My favorite line: “You know you look pretty good for your age.” “Thanks, but I’m seeing someone in wrapping.”

I hope everyone has an amazing weekend, spent with watching all of your favorite Christmas movies!
