Happy 2017! So I mentioned in my Christmas tag post, that I never make New Year’s resolutions, but that this year I am going to challenge myself to actually make some and try my absolute hardest to stick to them… or at least some of them! So here are my 2017 New Year’s resolutions:
My first resolution is to read more. When I was in high school (before the days of netflix) I used to read ALL the time. And not just school books, but books that I wanted to read for fun. I tried to read some books last summer, but I just go so busy, and I didn’t really end up reading as much as I would have liked. I have quite a few books that I still want to read, so this year I am hoping to get through all of them!
My next resolution is to drink more water. Last year, I worked full time from January – August, and every day I was at work I would drink at least one bottle of water throughout the day, sometimes more. But then in September, I stopped working full time, so I got out of my routine of having a water bottle with me all day, and stopped drinking as much water, so this year I am really going to make an effort to drink at least one glass a day.
My next resolution is for my blog. I am challenging myself to continue uploading posts twice a week, every Monday and Friday. In the last month or so of 2016, I was really good about consistently posting twice a week, but for pretty much the entire year before that I absolutely failed at posting every week. So this year I am hoping to be more consistent about when I am posting.
My last resolution for 2017 is to cook more. I am just not very good at cooking, so I rarely ever make nice meals for myself, but I am hoping to change that this year, and start eating better!
